INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION FOR MARINE SEATS
Detailed instructions on the installation of marine seat.
Component & tools required
- Seat rails
- Chair leg mounting brackets
- Chair legs
- Chair crosspieces
- Armrests
- Close plates at each end of seat rails
- M10 locknuts
- Diameter Ø10mm flat washers
- M8 round head screws
- M8 locknuts
- Diameter Ø8 flat washers
STEP 1 – Seat rails
STEP 2 – Installation of chair leg mounting brackets
STEP 3 – Installation of chair leg mounting brackets (continued)
Ensure mounting brackets are upright and perpendicular to the rail
STEP 4 – Installing chair’s leg
Slot in the chair’s leg
STEP 5 – Installation of crosspieces
Ensure that all the holes are positioned correctly There should be eight holes at the back of the seat crosspiece
Ensure that all the holes are positioned correctly Ensure two holes are available at each side (Left and right)
Insert 4 pieces of diameter Ø10mm flat washers into the protruding mounting brackets
Insert 4 pieces of diameter Ø10mm lock nuts and fasten
STEP 6 – Completion of installation of the crosspiece
STEP 7 – Installation of armrest
STEP 8 – Completion of installation of armrest onto the crosspiece should look like this.
STEP 9 – Installation of chair on to crosspiece
Prepare the life jacket latch that is hidden under the fabric
STEP 10 – Installation of chair on to crosspiece (continued)
Insert the front of the seat and latch it to the crosspiece
STEP 11 – Installation of chair on to crosspiece (continued)
Ensure back of latch secures onto the crosspiece and fasten locknut using M8 washer and locknuts
Secure lifejacket bag to latch at the front of the chair
STEP 12 – Completed seat setup
STEP 13 – Attaching close plates at each end of seat rails
